Camp Marin Sierra

I was only 4-1/2 years old when I went snow camping with my sister & my dad.
We got there late on Friday night and stayed in the cabin. But, then we set up a 4-season tent and slept outside on Saturday night. It was awesome! We had almost 12" of fresh snow land on us overnight. The snow acts as an insulator so it was very toasty in the tent. It didn't hurt to have a really thick sleeping pad and a down sleeping bag rated for zero degrees!
The Boy Scouts' Camp Marin Sierra is very close to Boreal Ski Resort. We went sledding & snowshoeing at the Boy Scout Camp on Saturday and went skiing at Boreal on Sunday. What fun! I've loved winter camping ever since!
